Helicopter Maintenance

Born from the need to ensure the efficiency of its fleet, Hoverfly is an EASA Part 145 and EASA Part M certified maintenance company able to perform basic maintenance operations and to manage the continuing airworthiness of aircrafts belonging to Airbus Helicopters’ family (formerly Eurocopter), Leonardo AW (formerly AgustaWestland) and Robinson.

Training Academy

Hoverfly has successfully obtained the prestigious Approved Training Organisation Certificate (ATO), thus earning the privilege to provide and conduct Part Flight Crew Licensing (FCL) training and renewal courses. Further to this, it has also entered into agreement with the most important centres specialized in using Flight Simulation Training Device information systems.

Drone Department

The use of the drone in a wide variety of inspection activities is a valuable contribution to ensuring, in a short time, information and data of the highest accuracy and quality.

The drone's eye inspects, records, analyzes, reaches extreme positions, and makes possible control activities that would be of considerable complexity for humans.

Holding an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and Aerial Work Operator Certificate (COLA) and being a CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization) certified company, Hoverfly is able to manage both its own and third party aircraft, both technically and operationally.

Nel 2010 Hoverfly Srl ha ampliato ulteriormente la propria flotta con l'acquisizione di due ulteriori elicotteri Airbus. L'azienda ha aggiunto un AS350 B3 Plus e un AS355 NP alla sua impressionante gamma. Queste nuove aggiunte hanno mostrato il costante impegno di Hoverfly nel migliorare la propria offerta con velivoli all'avanguardia. In 2015, Hoverfly made a strategic move by acquiring Società Aerea Meridionale (SAM), leading to the formation of "Hoverfly divisione SAM". The certification was extended to include the AW109 series, AS350 series, AS355 series, EC120, EC130 B4, AW169, R22, R44, and AS365 N2 helicopters. This extension demonstrated Hoverfly's commitment to maintaining the highest standards of maintenance and repair for its diverse fleet. In 2019, our fleet expanded with the addition of the Leonardo GrandNew A109SP twin-engine helicopter, based in Salerno. This acquisition represented a significant milestone for our company, as the Leonardo GrandNew A109SP is renowned for its exceptional performance, advanced technology, and luxurious features. With its increased capacity and enhanced capabilities, the A109SP allowed us to further enhance the services we offer to our valued clients. Based in Salerno, the helicopter was strategically positioned to serve the surrounding areas and provide efficient and reliable transportation options. 2020

In 2020, we experienced further expansion of our fleet with the addition of a VIP-configured AW139 twin-engine helicopter. This state-of-the-art aircraft, capable of accommodating 9 to 10 passengers, was strategically based in the northern region of Italy. The inclusion of the AW139 in our fleet allowed us to offer enhanced luxury and comfort to our discerning clientele. Known for its spacious cabin, advanced technology, and impressive performance, the AW139 enabled us to provide unparalleled helicopter travel experiences in the northern part of Italy and beyond. In 2021, two additional twin-engine helicopters joined our fleet to meet the demands of a growing market. We proudly welcomed a Leonardo A109SP and a Leonardo A109S Trekker, both representing the latest advancements in helicopter technology. Hoverfly was the first to acquire the cutting-edge A109S Trekker model, further solidifying our commitment to innovation and staying ahead of the curve.
